Acapulco has a year round tropical climate with sunshine almost everyday. The population of Acapulco is 1.50 million people and is located in the state of Guerrero which is 229 miles south of Mexico City. Acapulco is mostly well known for its incredible nightlife. The preferred place in Mexico for Canadians. Spring break here gets wild but mostly at night in the clubs which are open until ?????. Acapulco is also known for having many famous people having their homes there like of course, Sly Stallone who's house can be seen coming in from the airport. There are not as many American breakers like Cancun but it is still a great destination and of course…cheaper. .

Acapulco is more "Mexico" than Cancun but the nightlife has always been incredible. Acapulco was the original place to party in Mexico many years ago especially for the Canadians and was first in having great clubs.

If fishing with your buds is the thing, you're in the best place on the west coast. Also check out the cliff divers, bay cruises and rent a car to go to Pie de la Cuesta (best sunsets). CANT MISS -- Absolutely the best light show we've ever seen can be found at Enigma, You must go early to check it out!!!
Hot Bod contests are a must do for some of the hottest guy in Mexico. These shows are infamous all over Mexico. Some of our staff is sure they grow them just south of the city and bring them in by the truckload!!

THINGS TO KNOW::
hotels have a service charge for all international calls. Verify with the operator before making your call for the exact rates and service charge. The best thing that you can do is buy a Ladatel card which is the Mexican calling card. They are at a cost of 20, 50 or 100 pesos and all you need to do is from a white pay phone, enter your card, dial 011-95- and your area code and number. There is no service charge and there is no need to speak to an operator. You will see on the screen how much time you have left. The Ladatel cards are available almost everywhere and MAKE SURE that is not any other card from another company. Avoid calling home collect because you will be surprised when you see your phone bill.
Cliff divers are cool to check out. But Acapulco is known for its shopping, being the cheapest of all the resorts. Check out the markets. Cigars and booze are the best deals! TIP: Everyone should be aware to never buy stuff on the beach because you never know... If you have been to Cancun before and now trying out Acapulco for the first time, you will see how the tourist is more important to the locals and not everything is a question of money. Remember to always negotiate before getting into the cab. Ask us for info on your hotel because it is always best to stay on the "strip" or really close.
