Very rarely does the party spill out onto the streets, aside from the festivals, cuz inside is the place to be. The established clubs are cool, but the new underground clubs are the spot to be.

Natives describe restaurants in one word-TRENDY- NYC restaurants are the ultimate experience in eating. Try to imagine the wildest and most outlandish type of food from the most far-off country, and here its already been done. There is a restaurant for everybody and for every budget. Just make sure you budget starts at $10. NYC is split up into deferent sections:N/SOHO, Chinatown, Little Italy, East/West Village, to name just a few, and each section you go to will offer you deferent cuisine. So pick your area and then look for a restaurant with a line, and we'll put money that it'll be one of the best you've ever eaten at.

Biggest problem is getting in. Expect a crowd around the door, and a door person(w/ big attitude).Because of the sheer amount of people and celebs, NYC clubs are the toughest to enter. Lineups are just apart of the way clubs work.Dress to impress cuz you go out to be seen, and party your ass off. Try to get on a guest list or know somebody who knows somebody. All else fails, pull the hottest hottie out of the line and just walk in like you own the place. The trendiest spots are jammed with celebs, so dont freak out if you find yourself gettin' smashed with Bruce Willis. And NO cameras!! Dont look like a tourist!! No other city we've been to has the hipness that NYC has. So going is not even a question.

SHOPPING

If shopping is your thing, welcome to Disneyland. Anything you want,
anything you can think of. Get prepared to go outta your mind. From 5th Avenue's TOP names in the world, to Canal St.'s best and cheapest knock-offs. the city literally has it all. Macy's swallows 1 NY city block of specials. SOHO has the wildest stuff you've ever seen. Lookin' for a rock, Diamond Avenue is store after store.

NYC has gotten' REAL expensive. When you go make sure you bring lots of CASH. Plastic is accepted, but to get around fast BRING GREEN! If your coming from outside US, change your funny money for the green. You will not be able to get around with out it.
